Our last LAH for 2010 will be held on Sunday 10th October 2010, at Hermanstad .
Dress very casual. (A golf shirt and jeans or overalls are more practical, if you happen to have them at home). No open sandals are permitted and sturdy shoes are required, preferably safety shoes. Hats, caps, and sun block are recommended.
Arrive at 8:00 am and report to the Board Member or member approved by the Board in charge. Fill in the Red Log Book.
Free tea/coffee will be available and is self-service from the Kitchen. For the Shed Braai at 12:00, Please bring your own meat and drinks. We will provide the braai, salad and rolls as well as paper cups, plates, cutlery etc.
Please contact the Board Member or Member approved by the board (for this month), before the date; for maps, catering, work update and any other information you may need.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank all the members who gave up their free time and especially those chaps who assisted with LAH while doing the theory work for their drivers’ course.
It’s this valuable and priceless backstage work, both at Capital Park on the locos and maintenance at Hermanstad which makes up the backbone of our club and keeps our trains on track.
