DELVILLE WOOD DERAILMENT

Thirteen wagons of cement train 5519 derailed on 20 September at Dellville Wood, 42km from Durban, on the main-line to Johannesburg. On Heritage Day 24 September, passengers on the unique steam-hauled 06:00 from Inchanga via Cato Ridge to Durban enjoyed a grandstand view of the wreckage.
