- As the sun takes a bow, the mixed train from Pretoria enters Zonderwater station. Here is a major industrial plant where additives for iron ore are processed. Back in time, this station was the end point for the Italian Prisoners of War during WW2. Class 24 number 3664

- Journeys end. The branch line locomotive stands with its mixed train having just arrived from Cullinan with the daily mixed. The huge works and setting sun make for a dramatic vista.

One can feel the spirits when one stand sthere. Nice comparisons. The Dadfords and I are going to the Commemorative ceremony held every first Sunday of November, at Zonderwater to commemorate the WW2 passing of the Italian Prisoner of War.
