Teddies to steam along for railway fun
Leighton Buzzard Observer
Published on Sunday 15 July 2012 00:09
There will be lots of bear-faced fun at the Leighton Buzzard Railway on Sunday, July 15, with the popular Teddy Bears Outing taking place at both ends of the line.
In these difficult times, parents will be pleased to hear that children who bring a teddy, and a full-fare grown-up each, will travel free of charge on the railway.
Many other things are free too, such as teddy balloons, miniature train rides, and fun competitions. There will also be face painting, bear making, and teddy cakes and cookies on sale.
Steam trains will depart from Page’s Park station every 50 minutes from 10.40am to 3.40pm for a 70-minute round trip into the Bedfordshire countryside.

I am afraid to say that Ted, has informed me that he has had far more international travels to be upset at not being able to attend this meeting of other like minded Bears. However he has confided that he would have liked to have been invited to this event, but at present is having porridge problems being sorted out with the family!!

Whew, that's a relief. May Ted's international travels go ever onwards, as he continues his search for the perfect wood in which to, er, do what bears do in woods. Is the Pope Catholic?
