The class 24 has arrived at Cullinan and the passengers are off, while the 19D, with rods removed and work ongoing on the other side to replace tender bearings, waits with its hauler, the 34 class diesel, to take her back to Capital Park after the derailment due to sleeper theft on the same spot as the 2010 derailment.

The wool packing is removed to take out the damaged pieces of the white metal bearings. A sliver of this bearing can be seen on the top of the axlebox.
